HID of Evo 8 GSR???
I know i have Hid's but im not sure what's the color temperature? Is 5000k? The reason I m asking is my bro's NISSAN MAXIMA's looks like has better HID than mine.....
Does anyones knows what kind of HID do I have on my EVO 8 GSR????

Regular 05 VIII's didn't come with HIDS.. I believe it only came with the SSL,RS, and MR.. someone correct me if I'm wrong with any of those 3... I bought my HID's from another member...

okay for newbies
03 gsr with sun roof had HIDS
04 gsr with sunroofs had hids ssl also had hids gsr didnt have hids
05-06 ssl and mr only had hids gsr and rs- plain projector

Correct. If its an 05, the only way it has HIDS is if its an MR or it has leather, sunroof, and a sub.
What do you mean by "better" anyhow? I have read many places the HIDs on the Evo are considered some of the best by industry standards. Just because they arent the most blue or purple or whatever does not mean they arent good, as dafarmer69 pointed out.

my 03 has HIDS, no sunroof, no ssl, I think the HIDs were an option in '03, and they are great. You have to remember too, that on some cars it matters of the projector also, IMO
