Just installed AEm tru Boost
Low boost is set at 24psi and high boost is at (find out).....All those horror stories about tapering down 4-5psi at redline ...
At 28psi I hold 26psi till redline easy....
overall I like this EBC because it's easy to setup and extremely easy to adjust boost from A setting to B setting...

i use the trueboost on our project evo 2.3
its fantastic,
like u said, easy to set up, and has an/jic fittings too, so u can run braided stainless steel lines, no more hoses blowing off...
plus it looks cool like this...
........................
if u want up to 28psi it works fantastic, over this you need the external map sensor.
im integrating it with my alky kit im putting on... up to 20psi on pump mode A, 28psi on mode B with alky coming on at 20 psi for now.

damn you paid 320 for that thing?! Luckily I only paid 250 for mine. but anyway just got mine installed about a week ago then got tuned and I love this thing. An all in one gauge and boost controller. I spike at 27 psi and it tapers down to 24 at redline on my setting A and Jestr did a race gas setup on setting B for the track.. I considered MBC but for now this is getting the job done!

Ive been trying to decide if I want to go to a EBC and have been interested on the Truboost...the only thing I dont like is the solenoid is only good to 28psi and if you want to go higher you have to buy another solenoid

bad news for me..Like 2 days later It seems as if I'm not holding boost anymore...
I spike to like 28( race gas) and hold 24-25 till about 6k when I taper down to like 21-20!..
Holy crap that's a freaking 8psi drop after spike...
I'm a little pist and I cant seem to fix it now...Possibly the WGA?.
By the way I have a MBC on hand...What is the usuall boost taper at a boost levels above 24psi?..

If you have an OEM turbo, tapering to 22-21PSI is normal on the OEM Wastegate. You would need to tighten the OEM wastegate arm which is set to 13PSI stock, meaning it starts to crack open at 13PSI no matter what
You can buy a Wastegate that is set to 18PSI, meaning you will get massive boost spikes but if you have race gas, no worries and a HUGE arc or torque, can't be run on pump gas.
