Stutter for manual trans?
Well I tried google and searching on here, but my friend was talking about something called a stutter, I think it was called, but he said that if your racing you can set it to act like a rev limiter at any certain rpm you want and you can just sit there and have it bouncing at say 3k rpms for a launch then let out the clutch and your gone. Does anyone know what im trying to say? Im not sure if my friend knows what hes talking about but I dont either haha so I need some help with this. Thanks alot

2 Step:
2 Step in its most basic form is a lowered rev limiter while stationary it doesn't really put load on the motor. Point of this system is to spin the turbo up producing a moderate amount of boost before you launch.
Anti Lag:
Anti lag isn't like 2 step at all dumping fuel into the system while at low throttle inputs and moderate to high rpm ranges combined with bursts of air from the intake cause ignition in the exhaust system keeping the turbo spinning at a higher rate of speed.
Anti lag is mainly performed now in rally racing becuase of the inlet restrictor. This restrictor forces the turbo to run higher pressure ratios in order to maintain the boost pressures. The antilag system is extremely hard on your exhaust system and your turbo.
