Just had installed: HKS Intake, B&M Short Shifter, Seibon CF Trunk... IMPRESSIONS...
First Impressions:
HKS: Sounds really loud! You can REALLY hear the stock BOV now.. sounds more aggressive, I feel a little more power.. but barely noticeable.. DP and exhaust is needed to clear the restrictions.
Seibon CF Trunk Lid: Nice fitment, really good quality, no regrets.
B&M Short Shifter: Not impressed. First, I thought that by installing this, the throw AND the shifter height would both be effected. However, only the throw "feels" about 20% shorter. Height is exactly the same. My shift knob sits in a different position, when in neutral, it looks like its in 5th gear. I dont know if my installer didnt know what he was doing or what???
I would appreciate if anyone could shed some light on this and let me know if this is in fact normal.

Sounds normal to me. HKS RS is loud as hell, whenever I rode in my friends car, that was the only thing I would focus on - and he had manifold, o2 and catless TBE

Is there any way to quiet down the stock BOV sound when getting an aftermarket intake like the HKS I got?? It is TOO loud, I cant even hear the turbo spooling anymore and I still have stock full exhaust!

To hear turbo spool, would you actually have to be running under high boost (25+ psi)? I cant even hear that anymore due to the stock BOV diverter valve.
