I've seen some mounting brackets made for 350Z's that replace the suction cups which leave some nasty O marks on the windshield over time. It basically mounts to the Rear View Mirror and hangs down and is pretty secure. I was wondering if anyone made them for the Lancer's mirrors? I would try to modify the one for the 350Z but its too short to clear the mirror for the radar to sit (tested my friends) and the mounting point is circular on 350Z as opposed to the lancer's which is a square-ish post...

Wasn't sure if this was the right location but i searched for "passport 8500 radar, mount" and nothing came up. Just some posts about hardwires... Worse comes to worse i'll have to pay to have one machined at work and see how that works out.

I've never heard what you are talking about. I'm guessing it doesn't exist for our market

That's pretty cool, I dont believe these exist for the evo. I just have mine mounted right by above my rear view mirror. Good luck

 

Well looks like i'll buy a spare rear view mirror and have something machined up...
