Just bought my first Evo...
So I finally bought the car of my dreams to take off to Texas Tech, a 2004 Apex Silver Evolution VIII! Im stoked beyond words, I love the thing.
But heres the catch.
It still has most of its warranty, which I would like to keep, but I want to start modding it as soon as I can! What advice can you guys, being Evo enthusiasts with experience in this, give as to what I could mod on the car without voiding the warranty?
Also, where do most of you guys buy your parts from, and what are some upgrades someone with little car-tech knowledge handle?
Ill have pictures up soon!

What? Mitsubishi offers warranty on the Evolution? But in all seriousness don't bother modding it if you want to keep the warranty. Or just mod the hell out of it and say "screw the warranty" like every other Evolution owner does.

I'm not worried about voiding my warranty and it hasn't slowed me down in modding my car.
If you ever take your car in for warranty work, it must have a CAT on it though, no cat-delete or test pipe.
Have fun with the new car!
Exhaust, drop in filter, fuel pump, mbc and tune and you'll be putting in some decent power

Since you bought a EVO used, you really only have the powertrain warranty left, which I believe would not be the 10yr/100k, but only a 5yr/50k. Unless you purchased extended warranty, I say get some wheels or suspension!
