LICP is a great cheap easy mod that WILL increase spooling sound(& speed)
don't remove your bumper, check the how-to section

You could run it w/o an airfilter and just get a bellmouth for the compressor inlet. This would maximize the turbo spooling sound. However, if you live in a dusty area this will probably promote engine wear.

I tried the sand in my intake mod.... and for a while I heard some crunching noices that sounded pretty bad ***... but now my car won't run. Please help.

simple...add more sand...
