catalytic converter EVO 8

Does anyone know of a good catalytic converter for EVO 8 I have a Tanabe 2.75 in dp and a 3" in Hks Carbon TI exhaust. Does the diameter really matter on the catalytic converter since i have a smaller downpipe?

The factory cat should work fine.

The tanabe dp and hks cb both taper to 2.75 inches so it should bolt to the factory cat with no problems.

The perrin kind of looks like a test pipe. Is it a test pipe or a catalytic converter

WORKS 3" HFC...
Magnaflow 3" HFC
HELIX 3"HFC

ive personally put all three on my car and put them on a smog machine. they all burned good enough to pass AS LONG AS THEY ARE HOT. meaning not from a cold start and just idleing. you have to drive them for a few minutes to get them to "light off" and keep them hot. yeah, they can just rev your engine for a few seconds in the shop to get it hot, but it may not be enough.

i even have cams in the car too...hehee...

Ultimate Racing makes a high-flow cat. It looks more like the stock than the perrin. Check it out. Don't know about the emissions but that's what i'm going with.
