i actually saw something like on my 2005 electric blue.

there were one or two spots on the trunk that were tiny little rust blooms, but were under the cleacoat.

Well i am the proud owner of an 06 IX AND im also a LOCOMOTIVE ENGINEER for a living and i cant atest to the fact that if some loco engines sit idling and there is some condensation in the air or WORSE IT RAINS.......yeah there will be little specs of diesel and carbon over anything thats near the stack of the locomotive. There ya go!

I had rail dust on my car when I picked it up. I then told the dealer to clean it all off before I get it... They did... and now I am happy. There is suppose to be a specail way for you to clean it. At least they said they did it in a specail way...
