Buying My Evo Ix

Well the local dealers are proving so sad to me.... I finally have my money to buy my evo and now no one has a 9 or 9 se. Its really what i wanted because of all the bad stuff i have heard about mr's and there 6-speed trans and the price. I really need advice on how to get one of the two and where i can pick up a 9 or SE. Are the MR's really bad, i could never afford one tho! I really want my car soon....

b00stin evo8, wrong forum, dude. This belongs in the Newbie/FAQ forum. An administrator/moderator will likely move it there today. Try not to make it a habit to post in the wrong forum. Take a moment and read the glorified forum rules - mild censorship stuff, IMO.

Hey man, I hear your pain. I bought my IX back in January and I still couldn't get the Electric Blue with the sunroof... But hey, I guess it wasn't meant to be... I called Cali, NY, NJ, and TX. No one had it, so I was lucky to find a new Electric Blue that was heading to Florida, so I bought it. Keep searching though, a friend of mines bought a SE not to long ago, so you never know... Good luck man..

Too Bad for you but my 06 MR causes me nothing but smiles and no worries..don't believe everything you hear about the MR's Tranny...lots of disinformation on this site from people that dont even have an Evo. You had better hurry the IX's won't last for long, not that many imported in the first place...try..

I had no problem getting mine, they didn't have any MR's though which was ok because i did not want a MR. Why you so worried about getting a MR anyways? Just get the SE or regular with HID's and order the brake dam and vortex shark fins if you want them. Get dressed and go out and buy it now
