10k to spend..

hi guys..I hav 10k to spend on my Evo..
my evo is completely stock and I would like to know what would you guys recomemend. this is what i have. FMIC, licp, upic, tbe, coilovers.

these are what i have in mind. i dont know if 10k will be enough for these parts.

AMS GT35R
HKS 272 cams/gear
AEM EMS
HKS EVC VI
ACT clutch/fly wheel
ALCOHOL INJECTION
walbro fuel pump

do i really need head studs?

the car will having 2 maps.
one for daily driving which is 21 psi safe.
and one for racing which is 30+ psi with meth.
so let me know if this is good.

I would suggest getting internals built before having a bigger turbo such as the 35r.

if you need to ask if you need headstuds with a 35r, you best not buy that turbo..
you will not run 30 psi with a 35r on a stock bottom end.. get a 50 trim, i think its a better choice for you.. unless you have 25,000 to run a 35r.

I wouldn't go that route if I were you. Even though many have pushed 550whp through their stock block it is only a matter of time IMO before it breaks. I wouldn't go larger than FP green/20glt if I were going to stay on the stock block. If you will upgrade down the road I would just wait and do it right the first time instead of doing all this work and then in XXX amount of time yanking everything out to put a new motor in.

Look at recent 20glt/Fp green times on stock blocks in the last two weeks 125,128,130mph traps and high 10 low 11 sec times.

first thing I'd do is take $500 and spend it on a weekend HPDE, but it depends on what you want to do with your car.

walbro fuel pump..$100
fp green ported coated...$1750

s1's look at the project evo.......$525
o2 housing ebay........................$60
intercooler.................................$600-800
licp and uicp...............................$500
aem ems....................................$1700

Thats your personal speculation...'

Depends on the owner, tune and parts and tonnes of factors.

first i'd ask u this... do you wanna be fast in a straight line or set it up like it was made for and thats for DRIVING? If it was me and i'm looking to drop that kinda dough.... i'd get the traditional mods with intake, u/licp, cams, boost controller, fmic, 255 walbro, headstuds, bov, turbo timer, rotors, steel braided brake lines, twin disc clutch, TUNE, FULL COILOVERS, and maybe diff turbo like 30R and keep the rest for tires lol...

just my thought..... not to many take my approach with the evo but there are enough out there that love to get some nice HP gains yet handles like a MO FO! hah

decide what you want out of it and go from there.

I say be smart and put into something like a CD and spend the yeild money on the car.....10k is A LOT to dump into a car at one time, thats unless money is no object to you. I know I'm going to sound like a ***** but thats the reasonable way to go about it.
