front plate

i see alot of ppl on here dont like the front plate of the front of there evo and i was just looking around and found this

interesting.....wonder how much room is needed for it to tuck back in on lowered cars.....also how secure it is from getting knocked off...

what would be nice would be to get an electronically controlled one (i guess similar to the electronically controlled open/close test pipe). this way if you get pulled over press the button so when the cop says "i pulled you over cause you have no front plate" you just say "um yea i do" and have him check lol that would be funny to see their face after that.

hmm.. when the plate is displayed it looks like someone just ghetto mounted it and its all hangin off and out of place

u can do that as well.
there was a thread about what to do with the space where the intercooler sprayer switch is in an Evo VIII and somebody suggested the flip down palte withe a link.

i'll post it if i can find it

Only thing i'd worry about is it blocking the "functional" air intake for the oil cooler or one of the intercooler inlet openings
