This didn't used to happen to me when i had the ix plastic DV. Decided to upgrade to the metal jdm IX and im having idle issues. It wants to stall most of the time... it's really annoying..
the only thing i've changed was from plastic DV to metal DV !
Anyone have any ideas?
I do have an intake and im tuned for it, didn't happen when i had the plastic DV.

For those of you who keep telling him to recirc...try reading his original post.
I too had the RS w/recirc and it was a constant hassle adjusting it for part throttle driving. However on the track it would hold 28 psi for me rock steady. I suggest you run a stock valve for daily and keep the Greddy if you plan to race it.

+1 1000 on removing the smaller spring. It is easy takes 15 min tops then you just adjust the spring load as needed. It will get rid of the flutter completely.

it definetly WONT get rid of the flutter completely although it helps.... if you got rid of it completely, it means your greddy is set WAY too loose and your not holding boost well now

I have the RS recirc. & it works better than stock IX-MR. I have both springs in also. Take a pic of you setup. I know what your describing, light clutch engagement, then slight revs and throttle, then quick release and it dips to 500 rpms with no stall...its common. I noticed it 1k into my new setup and tried endlessly to have it stall with no adval. Its not a problem, its normal, take 2 OCD pills. High 5.
And to those stating that the IX MR BOV is the best, do some research. Alot of R&D goes into everything that Greddy, Forge, and most other companies build. You'll never see a built Evo (or any built turbo car for that matter) with a stock BOV.

+1, My boy has both springs in his and is running 30psi with ECUFlash... No sputtering and no rich issues at idle... It's a non-issue.
