well nowadays the regular ones have the GG color too so that makes things more confusing. since every GG color i see i assume that they are MRs.

you vin# will tell you your production #. Look at mitsubishi website, there is a link explaining the meaning of the vin#

I have an 8 MR. But it is becoming far from stock. The "rareity" is not going to play into the resale value of mine because its been all done up. But i think that a stock 05 MR will hold value and possibly be a collector in about 20 years.

In your case why not buy a GSR since it comes with mivec and "better turbo?"

because the IX mr has those things said previously plus everything the 05 model had. The 6 gears where important too better gas milage specially when u commute 60 miles per day
