HKS Hi Power Catback problem
I just got my HKS Hi Power Catback put on and it sits real close to my driveshaft and sometimes it will tap against it when i turn right. Should i try to loosen the bolts and move it over a bit? Thanks

No s*** because the stock cat is 2.5 and it's 3 at the muffler because after the resonator it switches to 3.

No you dump a$$ it's not 3 at the end of the muffler try to put a can of soda there it will not go at all because it's 2.5 at the cat and at the end of the muffler. Check this out. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...highlight=beer post # 5.

hammer in the resonator where its rubbing the drive shaft, eventually it will probably cut into the resonator if you dont and it sounds god awful when its rubbing. Also it's not advertised as a 3" exhaust. It's 70mm I think. also where it meets the stock cat it does not need to be tapered to have a flange on it... go figure as to why they did that. I will say this in the HKS's defense.. It makes good power as proven by dyno testing. More power than some 3" exhausts and it's a quiet exhaust. As far as fitment issues.. well that's completely ridiculous for an expensive exhaust to fit so poorly, I had the HKS Ti catback and sold it for a loss because I dont want something "rubbing" on my car. I've heard that the ebay exhaust fits better than the HKS does.

I'd get kartboy exhaust hangers, I've heard they can do wonders. You can find them at http://lancershop.com/customer/produ...&cat=68&page=1
