I use a BMC panel filter, and personally I like it. Unless you're pushing a lot of HP, the stock airbox is sufficient.

If you like the BR filter, you can find a similar (if not the same) filter on Ebay for about 17 bucks. It will not mess with the MAF either.

^^^ I thought so, too, and ordered one. When it arrived, it was smaller and came with an adapter to match up to it's small round inlet. I never installed it. db's filter matches up with the maf perfectly and needs no adapter. PM me for a free filter.

Then we're not talking about the same filter. I needed no adapter for mine and bolted it right to the MAF.

It's weird, I can't find it on Ebay right now. Contact Razorlab, he's got them.

Yeah, must not be the same one I ordered. It looks exactly like db's filter, though, just smaller.

i have a apexi intake kit....id have to check it out to see the exact model.. had it on my evo when i had it only used for about 3 months sell it real cheap

I switched from HKS RS to the ETS evo intake. Cant tell a difference between the 2, except with the ets the car idles better. FWIW the ETS intake uses a K&N Filter.
