Yea I did know about the whole race gas thing, I was just curious if anyone ever buys this stuff
I went ahead and tried a bottle today after filling up...Seemed to feel a difference in performance.
Maybe it's all in my head though

Basically, one bottle of that stuff will not make a difference. It MIGHT raise the octane by like .2, but it's not enough to notice.
Now, if you bought about 5 bottles and added it to half a tank of 93 you might have something to work with, but it's much cheaper to go by the paint store and get a gallon of toluene.

Add some toluene to half a tank of 91 and you'll see a difference. I've heard that toluene is around 117 octane equivalent or something. With those numbers, adding 1 gal toluene to 1/2 tank (7 gal) of 91, you'd have 8 gal of 94.25 octane fuel. Substitute 93 for the 91 and you'd have 96 octane.

If you want stuff in a bottle get the NOS racing formula stuff, it increases like 6 or so octane points, they did a thing in SCC or something like that awhile ago...I used it before and I could tell a difference when mixed w/ 92, but its expensive.
