Driving in the rain

Would it hurt my evo any if i drove it in the rain? being as with the intercooler induction pulling any water into the engine.

Short answer: No

Long answer: Even in the worst conditions, like a car wash directly spraying into the bonnet, your engine and exhaust will be just fine. Lots of steam sometimes but nothing else.

As long as you don't have a really low mounted cold air intake everything is fine, water in the intercooler does absolutely no harm at all.

Seeing as how the intercooler doesn't actually take in air, you'll be fine. The only risk is if you go in water deep enough that the intake box is submerged but if you did that you'd have bigger problems on your hands than a blown motor. It's an evo not a wussy car, it was made to drive in sun, rain and snow.

Don't do it, your car will melt in the rain.

Unbelievable. Some guys don't deserve an Evo. You just might be one of them. Harsh, I know. Really, though. Come on.
