What makes the Evo so expensive to own?

I think its relative..
I don't consider the Evo all that expensive to own.. But If you have to take a large insurance payment, large car payment (650+ per month) and regular maintainance, not to mention mods if you are into that, it definitely can be an expensive car to own if you are spending most/all of your income on it.
My car is paid off, has been for awhile, and even though I'm older and make a decent living, the $600 a month payments definitely didn't go unnoticed. But I have very few other maintainance expenses and almost no repair expenses for the car because it isn't abused. Modding on the other hand gets expensive once your beyond the basic bolt-ons.
