Auto Insurance Driving History - PA

I live in Phila, PA. Tristate area.

Does anyone know any Auto Ins. Companies that only check history back to 3 years? I have been clean now for 3.5 years now. Speeding over 31 was my last offense. I am with Progressive now and they only check back 3 years driving history. So they only saw my speeding violation when i signed up. I need to renew now. I know the good companies (All State, Liberty Mutual, etc) check back 5 years of driving history and that would be bad b/c they would see my Speeding plus more =\.

So does anyone know of any other ok insurance companies around here that look back only 3 years besides Progressive? Thanks a lot!

My best rate was actually through Progressive and they also give me a discount every renewal period. If you renew with them that ticket shouldn't be considered and they should give you the clean rate. I'm not sure why you want to change companies ...

Does anyone know what companies go back three and five years? Perhaps a list is in order?

eVosmAs2006ix, it's probably just protocol for renewel, how would they tell if anything happened otherwise? If it's clean, you got nothing to worry about man. Same rates are good.

Mine dropped a bit when my ticket came off. If you got another ticket your rate would go up, so why would it not go down when one leaves? It makes no sense. Like I said, mine drops about $7 a month or so every renewal and it dropped when my ticket was gone and when I got married.

When i started it. I was not clean and I had a ticket over 31mph on it. It is renewal time and I am clean now. and it is only dropping 50 bucks. Do we have to mention to re-run a credit/driving history check? It looks like maybe the speeding is still on there? or maybe 50 bucks is all it will drop. Sad.

Ah, sorry misread that. 50 bucks? Dang, well. I suppose it could be worse, but that sucks dude.

Actually guys. They dropped mines 150 for 6months and said my speeding ticket is off now! yay. I guess thats better than nothing. If I can find a place to beat it I will go with that. But that's a hassle. Hopefully in 6months it will drop again! Thinking of paying more deductible (500) to drop it even more. hmm.

But omg! wtf. Thats not fair. I think imma go find myself a wifey! 200 dollars a month ^^^ decrease??!! Thats a lot, I'm so jealous.

Thanks for all the help guys! Evom rocks.
