Unless you get lucky like I did. I bought it from a dealership. The owner of the dealership traded it in for a MR. So I knew it had been maintained properly. It had 23,000 miles and was wtill on the stock clutch.

Bought my 2005 Evo from a 38 year old dad who needed to get rid of his car for a family car...poor guy.

Garaged the car alot...no mods ever.

I'm probably going to ruin this car myself....because i have only been driving stick for about 2 weeks. There is 22K miles on the car. I don't do launches and I hope this stock clutch will last me until 75K. Just using it as a commuter. Once in a while I'll punch when Im in 3rd gear but for alittle bit.

makes me happy when I drive my car.

I believe the biggest thing that can help some one learn to drive, is understanding what your driving and how to feel the car. Understand how the clutch works and the sweet spots of it. Feel the clutch like you were using your hands. Dont drop it, but dont hold it too long. Dont just drive and shift but feel every shift and drive with the car....dont just drive the car like most people do..If you ever watch race car drivers they are so focused. Learn to do the same.
