Question trans Whines 1st gear

Ok, I have a 05 evo. have around 330 WHP. got around 54k miles on the car. I just had a ACT clutch installed, i did the usual 500 miles break in (stock flywheel, new) and somewhere around 600 miles i was on my way home and stoped at a red light and was like hey, my cluth is broke in. So i took off from the light, good start shifted into second great no noises all things gravy. Well i get home and park teh car, wasent really listening to the car at the time by the way. in the moring i got o get a bite to eat and notcied when i put the car in first it whines pretty loud, sounds like when your inrevese going fast that real loud whine, and 24 hours ago it waset making that noise. So I was trying to think of what i can do to make the noise and try finding the problem. well at thsi time i am at a loss. Now when the car is in neutral and im coasting around 15-20 mph and i put it in first or start to you can hear the gear start whining up, pretty loud, till the syncros get the speed correct and let teh gear go in. now when im in first gear and accel, teh nosie i'snt quite as bad, still loud, but when i take my foot off the gas and decel its a bit louder, also when i push the clutch in and it is in first the whining stays with teh gear and not the rpms. so teh decel is loud! and the accel is loud but not as loud. Now my thoughts are either a bearing of some sort or my gears just feel like being wicked loud now. also it is only when i am in First gear. all the rest of the gears are fine, and the install was done by a dealership. Any help would be great!!! thanks!

will

Maybe your TC is going?

Some might consider the sound of straight-cut gears a plus.

yeah thats what my buddy told me that worked at Vivid and did there clutch installs in regards to the strait cut gear. Can a TC make a noise in just first gear tho?? cause its not makeing a growling noise like something busted. its just a wine and the car still operates fine, its just real annoying and i dont want to be ruining anything else if there is an issue. I live in phx so you have to drive far to anything. I have even tested to see if pulling hard in first woudl make it change more or something happen and nothing.

Perfectly normal to whine in first gear. I asked this question a month ago and that was the overall consensus because of first gear being straight cut.

As a reference first and reverse are straight cut...thats why they sound the same.

yeah but its louder then reverse, and like i said after the install it was quiet andthat night to the morning it went form not hearing a thing to a loud whining. i dont think trans change from quiet or little not noticable whining to a loud whing in the blink of an eye. my buddy suggested putting RedLine tranny fluid in to fix or a mix of some two to quiet the noise. I am just making suer cuase i dont want to have to tear it all out again as you all know the price of just taking it out.
