Newbi Questions wideband install..?

Mod's

Test pipe and cat back.... plus or minus other stuff...

I just got my wideband in ... zeitronix... and was wondering if it is okay to install the 02 bung in a megan resonated test pipe (which is already pre drilled for me) or will i have get a downpipe and then go get a o2 bung placed in? either way i don't mind doing either or... which one is a better place for it.. because my next mod is a downpipe...

this is just so i know whether to buy a o2 bung or not... when i buy the downpipe.. thanks

get a good downpipe with a bung already installed or just take the bung from the wideband kit and have it put into a good downpipe, thats the good way to go

Some DP's already come fitted with an O2 bung. The test pipe location is also good. However, I don't know whether or not the fact that the DP is resonated, as opposed to being nonresonated, has any bearing on the issue.

I was also thinking that the resonator might swirl or otherwise affect the airflow causing an inaccurate reading. Some people install their RTP "backwards" but then the sensor has to hang low (bad for the sensor because of moisture and it can get ripped out) or hit the driveshaft. Seems like the end of the downpipe is a great location!

Except if its too hot and causes the sensor to fail, IE in the stock front O2 location.
