what is HTA?

What do the letters HTA stand for? What is "HTA compressor technology"? I get that an HTA turbo has a different type of compressor wheel, but what's different about it? Can anyone school me on HTA?

As quoted in a completely different forum by David Buschur

I asked about the HTA naming. The letters all designate something different about how the wheel was designed and such. Each letter stands for a series of changes the wheel went through to get it where it is. So it is basically Robert's secret notes.

We can call it Hot Tight A, I like that one the best.

High Turbine Area.

Compressor wheel is bigger than the regular one, flows more air? My guess?

High-strengthed Titanium Alloy, since HTA wheel provides fast spool, this is the same idea as in TME turbo which also has Titanium turbine.
