To Be Or Not To Be?!
Hey folks. For you Evo IX owners, if you could go back or buy another Evo would you go with a IX or IX MR? And why???
Ex: Rather go with 6speed or 5speed manual?
Aluminum roof. . . really makes a difference?!
Whats your purpose, drag, autox, or just highway fun?!?

IMO the five speed is better. The tranny is stronger, you can hold the gear a little longer and build boost longer and you don't have to shift as often. Although the aluminum hood is a weight loss as high as possible, which is good, you can lose that much weight or more very easy. Just change out the exhaust for an aftermarket 3" SS setup Put a mini battery in it, put your windows down (LOL ghetto weight lowering not weight loss!) Hope this helps you out.
