sorry if I'm slightly off-topic but I have a problem. i have a TurboXs TBE with Megan resonated test pipe and a stupid muffler (basically another straight pipe). the exhaust is unbearably loud, and I'm willing to sacrifice power to get something more manageable for every day driving. some of you may have seen me post before, and some may have seen me locally in Bk....
What do you people suggest. I wanna keep the 3" downpipe but i must do something with the rest of the setup soon cause I cant even hear my radio playing when I'm at 3000rpm.
some have suggested a SARD catback system. but its expensive!

or greddy SP2, or tanabe touring (these are the only 3 exhausts i'd buy!!)

which one is the quietest ?? cause i dont wanna just buy something that wont make a diff from what i have now. i already bought a resonated test pipe and muffler that someone sugegsted and it made no diff at all. I would hate to waste more money and see no result.
also, will i need a new tune on a dyno after installing something more restrictive ???

Greddy evo2, I just installed my turbo back today (3" downpipe, 3" test pipe, and greddy evo2 cat-back and its only gets noticed above 4k RPM's. Sounds great

i have an idea, what if i just buy a different Muffler (cause right now i have a pointless muffler which is basically a straight pipe), only this time, i make sure i get a real muffler, one that muffles.... that way, maybe i dont need a whole new exhaust (put the cat back), and can just keep all straight pipes i currently have?

yes thats what i mean also. i think the problem is the TurboXS muffler which is absolutely useless! so if i just get a diff muffler, i dont have to put the catalytic back on (and lose all the power), and i dont have to get rid of my 3" downpipe.
the main concern is the loudness, but i also would prefer not to lose the newly found power
