Benefits of porting the turbo
What are the benefits of porting the turbo? I'm guessing increased spool.. Is it better for torque numbers or higher hp?? Anyone know the cost of porting a 20g?

Yeah I've been waiting on some conclusive data on porting the stock turbo or porting the 20g. I'm about to port my exhaust manifold and want to know if it's worth getting the hotside done too...

Yeah.. I already got my exhaust manifold ported, I'm getting my turbo put in soon so I'm thinking I might as well get it ported before I drop it in. But if it's super expensive and doesn't gain much, no point

I wouldn't port one out for either to be honest. With something like a 35r you have a couple of options as far as cover size and hotside size. With the green I wouldn't really play with it, that's just me though, do what you want. I'm not a big fan of the stock turbo.
