I live in appleton, Ill keep my eye open for some evos for sale. There was talk of someone trading in a 9 at my dealership. I work at the mercedes/bmw dealer and we usually get a couple every now and then..

oh you work at Bergstrom??? i was actually around there the other day....just takin a peak at the new Lexus IS-F.....but yeah if you do hear of one let me know...that would be great...thanks

I have a VERY good family friend who works at Bergstrom, used to be one of the general managers, now manages the used car dealership i believe. Coincidentally i am going up there this upcoming weekend.
Which Bergstrom dealer do you work at? Service tech? lube tech?
Did you hear about the whole chain of dealerships that are being sold, some around appleton? Van Dyn Hoven i believe, even selling the mitsu dealership!
Unfortunately no discounts on cars or parts....but you may be able to talk them into a good deal on a 05 or 06 evo! even if you are after the look of the 06 evo 9 front bumper, you could always put the evo9 bumper on a 03-05 evo 8 (which can be bough for cheaper). Depends what you wnt out of the car and what you want to pay.
****Also if your looking at the 2006s or evo9s specifically...in the evo 9 they almost had a "2006.5" which was the evo 9 SE special edition which had different finish wheels, different seats, badging, the aluminum roof from the MR, etc....the MR SE is known as the MR with "appearance package"....im guessing because mitsubishi did not want the name of the car to get any longer (would be Mitsubishi Evolution 9 Mitsubishi Racing Special Edition [MR SE] -too long!)
PS- anyone in WI selling evo 9 MR SE or evo 9 SE seats ? the red stiched ones?

yea man i have like barely 345 whp and and if i go over 2psi of boost in simply SNOW all four wheels spin! Ice....yea lets say i have to monitor the vaccuum not boost! hahahah
