Don't order it polished you'll pay way too much. Just order it normal metal unpolished. I personally like polished end tanks so polish it yourself

Anodizing is actually an electrolytic process that tints the color of the metal, rather than simply coating the surface like a paint or powder coated finish. Anodization is a much longer lasting finish and will be far more durable over the long haul

If you're going to paint the IC, a thinner coat will have less effect on the cooling properties of the core, but will chip relatively easily from road debris. With paint/PC it's a give and take.

Agreed. A black intercooler, that attracts heat by definition, isn't exactly an optimum configuration.

FWIW, I'd buy one (as I have) from an Evo-specific shop like Buschur or AMS.

I'd say that 99% of the EVO intercoolers we sell are a natural finish, we just offer the anodizing for those wanting the look without sacrifice

im only gonna paint the top, so wen i get it smoged it looks stock, or close enough to stock. but i just gonna the the natural one wen i get some extra money in my hands

If you want a stealth look you could try the black, i dont think it looks cheap, it's different & says something, ppl are afraid to be different

i only want the top black so it looks stock wen i get it smogged cause i plan on keeping my car as long as i can. so im asking what color radiator paint or what paint all together

what up landis just call ets and talk to tom probably for a small fee they will paint for you and it will perfect.Everyone there is friendly they will help and answer all your question's about the intercooler you need.Good time to upgrde the stock inercooler your experencing heat soak bad form the weather.
