I can prove you wrong there. If I had my chance to go back and get a 5 speed I would've. Still love my MR though, but someone please buy it!

But I can differ on your opinion. I wouldn't trade my MR for the 5 speed GSR by any means. I am addicted to MR and every single detailed difference about it.

Plain and simple if you get an MR and have over 400 ft lbs of torque and drive it like it should be driven the transmission is gonna break. Trust me I know 1st hand.
What fun is all that power if your gonna baby it to save the tranny? Buy the GSR SE and be done, the 6 speed is a piece of trash.

To have power is to control it. What good is adding power when you don't experience the DRIVE of the car. The Evo is meant to be driven and driven hard, and not to make a muscle car out of it. It's a pure driver's car and changing that is your mistake if you choose to do so.

You completely missed his point; however, you are illustrating the notion that he deconstructed. Ironic to say the least.
Errr..control it, how? By building your own transmission housing, transferring 1-3 and 6th from the 6_speed, and machining the other gears, yourself? You may want to search for 6-speed issues and see why they break before going any further.
