mustang vs. dynojet

Hey guys. Does anyone know how to compare mustang dyno numbers vs. dynojet? Dynojets read higher from what I can tell, but how much higher on average? Thanks.

Dynojets read about 20 to 40% higher than a mustang dyno I heard. That is what a lot of people have been telling me! I could be wrong!

Yeah a good example is CBRD's mustang dyno read my friends car at around 320, went to a dynojet and put down about 375ish. For example my car dyno'd 446 on CBRD's mustang dyno, on a dynojet its probably around 510ish.

40% hahaha...just imagine a car with 500 hp on a mustang,that would be like 800 hp on a Dynojet

mustang dynos can be programmed to read whatever HP you want it to

I normally shoot for 25% difference.

edit: I meant 15-20%

I dynoed on 2 different mustang dyno's first was 319whp the second one read 291whp. You can't compare them, they all read different.

the more I hear, the more is sounds like the difference is about 15% between the dynojet and mustang. I know all dynos read different, but the dynojet is consistently higher than mustangs according to most people.

as already posted any dyno can be calibrated to show any number high or low. it is all how the dyno is setup.

A dyno is just a tuning tool.. that's it...what really matters is performance on the track or street.

I would say this is in correct. You can make a Mustang Dyno read what ever you may feel like seeing that day.
