Evo X MR Pricing

Greetings. Looks like there are quite a few unsold MRs at the local (NJ) dealerships but not too many seem all too fired up about selling at discount. I've been offered around $4k off of fully loaded MR (stickers around $40k).

I presume there are no factory incentives currently but any guesses on whether there might be special pricing on 08 MR soon? I guess I am not expecting blow out specials ($6-$9k off) on the 08 STI's but something close to that perhaps?

Thank you

There's a dealership in colorado that was selling base model 08 sti's for 27k.

And there's a few dealers giving 3-4k off new X's.

The car market is really dead right now so dealers are trying to stimulate things by practically giving them away!

same in NJ - had multiple offers for base STI in 27-28k. Fully loaded with nav and bbs for $31.5k. 2009 STI base can be had for $30k without any negotiation. Looks like EVO market is much stronger... for now.

sbkim - Where can you buy an 09 STi for $30k with no negotiations? The Subaru money was limited to 08s. I don't think the 09s are anywhere near $5k off sticker.

I was close to buying an 08 MR with the technology package and aero kit. The MSRP is $43,514 and I had them down to $38,466.71. The car has been sitting there since July. If they want to sell it as bad as they act like they do they can go lower or I won't buy it.

Call Lynnes Subaru (I believe in Bloomfield NJ) and ask for Chris. The have a base Silver STI 2009 arriving this week and got a quote of $29.5k. I've decided to look into the new 370Z or MR instead.

yeah, that's what I think also. That's also why I'm strongly thinking of trading my IX MR for the new IS-F or maybe a new M3 sedan. I don't know, but I'll see if I can get a great deal or something.

Speaking of MR - what's the best 0-60 reported? I've been seeing 5.2sec but certainly felt faster based on my SOTP.
