RS has the ssl right so this one has no sunroof ,what model is it?

Also can you tell by the VIN number what model it is if they debadge the car?

 

No, RS does not have SSL.

Looks like a VIII GSR to me, with IX taillights and perhaps smoked/tinted IX headlights.

 

wouldn't the RS have manual windows? or am I mistaken

 

RS has roll-up windows and no a/c...that looks like a GSR to me

Also the car has a upgraded FMIC and the rear bumper looks a little loose; there's a noticable gap where the bumper meets the rear quarter panel.

 

gsr for sure, make sure to obserrve vehicle really good though, looks like the owner doesnt really know how to take care of it. loose bumper, missing lights, lots of scratches.

 

Ok went to see the car today and it isnt worth what he is asking.

-Front and rear bumpers are loose and missing screws all over the place- You can literally fumble with it!
-Passenger side headlight is cracked straight down the middle
-Bottom of the DS door is bent like if he was backing up and had the door open
-MASSIVE oil leak on the Oil cap , theres actually puddles of oil on the intake mani
-the ds harness looks hacked as if it was in a accident and the spliced the wiires , because the frame looks warp and everything is missing screws.
-The air control knobs are all missing
-no radio
- needs 4 new tires
-exhaust burnt the bumper and its melting on the other side
-interior is nasty and dirty
-exterior overall i give a 2 out of 10, looks like someone had fun with a paintball gun because theres a series of dings all over the place
-67k miles
-spray painted 5zigens
-RUST ON A FREAKING 2005!!!

A little about the owner, he buys cars at auctions, he is a mustang fan and is well into his 50s. I think he got the car for a killer price at the auction and is just trying to make a quick buck. Also the previous owner had to be a douche because if he got this thing at the auction chances are it was a repo and it got ragged on

Boost was ok i tried to tell myself "this is not your car its not gonna be as fast as your car" just so i can try to feel what 280 awhp would feel like, it pulled ok after 5500 rpms but it was laggy as hell until it reached boost

Also it was shooting to the right bad , the front right tire has some mean camber wear on the outside of the tire, YES the part closest to the face of the wheel. No wonder there is no pics of the right side of the car

Yeah it had a/c and power windows, I am new to the EVO game and I have been reading up on every section and doing minor searches to get more into detail.

I know a ragged on car when I see one. LOL

I never understood why people who sell their cars don't freaken clean it. When I was selling my SRT-4 I spent a good 3 hours clearning the sucker out. Cleaned the inside, rims, outside, and wiped down the entire engine compartment, under side of the hood....everything. The thing looked sweet as well. Looked at a STi and Evo and the owners had junk all over inside . Probably a bad relation but I would think people who take care of their car would also seem it semi clean. Mine's spotless except the truck which is ok with me since that where junk is supposed to go.
