Buschur Racing took the idea and created their own series, including the BR350 that you saw. I don't know the deal, but I think at least some were sold like that through dealers, and therefore came already "approved" modified, and would be warrantied.

My facts could be totally wrong, but that's basically what's in my head after being on this site for 4 or 5 years...
thanks for the facts on that one,i recently heard of the fq 340 evo in a old exotic buyres guide i found at my house, and had no clue really about it

With the BR350 being the big brother to the BR330, of course means more modifications and more bang for your buck. The following is a complete list of the modifications done to the BR350.
BR 2.5" Mandrel Bent Stainless Steel Downpipe
BR 3" Mandrel Bent Stainless Steel Catback Exhaust
BR Air Filter Kit
Oil Pan Heat Shield
BR Polished Exhaust Manifold Heatshield
BR Spark Plug Cover
BR 2.5" Upper Intercooler Pipe w/ stock BOV
BR Mini Battery Kit
Ported Exhaust Manifold
Ported Turbine Housing
Ported 02 Housing

Starting with an already impressive sedan the BR350 package propels the Evo 9 into super car status. This optional performance package will not only drop your 0-60 mph times from 4.7 seconds to 3.9 seconds it will also drop your ¼ mile times from 13.4 at 104 mph to an amazing 12.6 seconds at 110 mph! You will also lose some weight, taking an additional 55 pounds from the cars already lightweight design. Impressed with the cars stock horsepower and torque levels? How about an additional 74 horsepower and 74 foot pounds of torque bringing the Evo 9 to 350 horsepower and 355 foot pounds of torque! You’ll find this is more than enough to take yourself and 4 of your friends to dinner……very quickly.

that was taken from their website take a look at it www.buschurracing.com
i wonder why they put a 2.5 inch downpipe when all they sell only 3 inch.

so it would join up with the cat. if sold by the dealership, it had to keep the cat to be legal.

I was sent to this thread but see it's old as hell.

We built and sold 7 BR 330's and 24 BR350's.

We sold them through a total of 5 Mitsubishi dealers from New Jersey all the way to California.

The cars were covered under warranty from the dealer you bought them from and as far as I know we never had any driveline failure in a single car.

We used a 2.5" down pipe because we retained the stock cat and a 2.5" down pipe flows better going into the stock cat than a 3" does.

David Buschur's son Zach has a facebook page just for BR330 and BR350 owners to post their cars and such. He made it in attempts to try and track down all of them or as many as he can just to see where they all ended up. You can also go to Buschur Racing's website and the entire story on the cars, exact mods and stats are on there also.
