evo 8 stock boost

i have an evo 8 and i have been noticing more things aftermarket on the car. when i was getting on it i hit 21psi. the other day when i was topping out the car, i hit about 25psi. the only things i see are an aftermarket bov, tbe, and turbo timer. those things wont change the boost pressure, and i didnt see a regulator either. just wondering if im running high boost or normal or worse. thanks for any input

what gear were you in when you hit 25psi? if it was 5th then the extra load on the engine could have caused the extra boost. but 20-21 psi is about normal for a 3rd gear pull.

pretty sure the temperature drop to 30 degrees is the culprit. turn down your mbc a pound or two until the weather gets consistant
