Ok so evos have been my dream car since i was a softmore in HS. but I could never afford one. But now there is one for sale close to were i live, well about and hour and a half away. they want 15k for it. But they say it is AS-IS. no warrenty. The dealer said it may have a blown head gasket or more. So is it worth it? I know someone who may fix it for cheap. but I cant just deal out 15K easly.

 

i would have to say that this isn't a deal....i got my car for one hell of a deal....2003 Evo 8 with 63k miles for 16500 and it runs perfect and it was very close to stock only had a intake and boost gauge

what about getting a 4 year loan?

 

I dont know much about it other than the three pictures on the website. no interior pics. but it has 73k miles on it.

 

I would pass on it. 15k is not much less than what could be expected for a car with 73k miles. If the head gasket is blown, that could mean it was beaten on or not taken care of. In both those cases it will likely need more work soon.

 

yea thats what I was thinking. man having bad credit sucks lol.

 

Having a 15k lawn ornament would suck even more.

 

Yeah, this does not sound like a good deal. If you do decide to get it, at least have someone knowledgeable take a look at the car for you.
