Hows the Evo X as a DD?

With SST tranny? Is it comfortable for DD?

How about the turbo engine? Any problems with driving the car everyday

Sometimes in the summer the temp here reaches 40-45 degree celcius.

I drive the MR everyday and have no issues with it. You will love it.

I don't have the MR, but I can tell you for a sports sedan the X is pretty comfortable. If you are driving 2 or 3 hours one way it might bug you a bit, but for normal driving it's just fine.

I probably tell you during the summer replace the coolant with 60-40 or 70/30 (water:coolant ratio) and change your oil at proper intervals and you will be golden with any car, also invest in a turbo timer maybe.

My test drive of the MR showed it would be a great DD, in traffic I sometimes wish I got the MR instead of the GSR.

or let the car run for a minute or 2 before you shut it off and save yourself 70 or so dollars

I love driving my car every day, the only thing is once you start serious tuning you will find the shifting slightly violent. It's a great car though...

I absolutely love the car as a DD. I drive to and from work, around 30 miles each day. Rain, Snow, Ice, hot or cold... the car handles it.

I do hate cleaning the brake dust off the stock rims every couple days, but that's easy to fix.

Its a great DD. I like it better than my E46 M3. The EVOXs chasis is also more solid, and the interior noise is quiet to..

Love it! I'm coming from an e46 M3. The build quality with the EVO X is not even close to the M3, but the EVO X is very fun to drive.

The SST is nice on the MR, but a word of advice- it is a manual transmission, not an automatic. If you try and drive the car like an automatic, it will be very uncomfortable and unhappy. Imagine that you have a clutch, and treat the right foot that way, and it is a charm.
