Looking to get an evo

I am looking to get an evo in the next few months. Im just not sure if I want a 06 IX or MR. Maybe you guys can help me out. This is going to be my DD, at most in the future I will get basic bolt on's, intake, exhaust. Which is best for a DD? I was thinking the mr cause the 6 speed would be better on gas but I read the mr is actually worse in gas then the 5 speed, is this true?

Thanks

Doesn't matter get what YOU want... I like MR's for the extras but that can all be put on with aftermarkets. Its what you want. I have an MR with appearance package. Love it!

lol you seriously car about gas mileage with an evo? But they will both be around the same.

Gas mileage depends on your driving style. If you hammer the throttle everytime then you will see your gas gauge hammer down alot and your MPG.

Exactly. If this car got 12mpg...then I'd pass. Right now (just got car before winter), I'm averaging 21mpg with 60hw/40city. Highest I got was 23 when it warmed up to a freakishly 50. Before that January had a few weeks where the high was single digit. People tend to get low to mid 20's in the summer, from what I can gather.
