you think the evo will hold value like the supra?

yours is either not on your name, or its paid in full and you dont have full coverage. other reason has to be that your not in this country lol. thats really really low. i'm 24, damn near spot less record, i do live in ct and had gap in coverage wich set me back to zero for time insured and i pay 280/mo.

They made over 4X the amount of IX MR's compared to the VIII MR and I think you are forgetting how rare the RS models are.

They made all of what, 3000 GVR-4's? they're not worth that much either, if by holding its value you mean the median price is 4k as opposed to a E/L/T going for 1.5-2? By 03, $5k was enough to name your car in terms of 115-120 trapping gsx's around here, and a bone stock car would rarely eclipse(hah no pun intended) 2k unless it was an exceptionally clean late model 2g.
hell this past summer I could have picked up a pair of decent gsx's + mods for 1500. The only neat thing about those cars was the drivetrain, every single other part was raw ****.

You're talking about 15-20 year old imports and you're acting as if $3-5000 is dirt cheap. Most cars that age go for 3-5 hundred dollars, not thosands.
clean late model turbo 2g's still go for around 4K-7K now. I'm talking auction data, not highball autotrader asking prices.
2k unless it was an exceptionally clean late model 2g.

The best example I know of the number being off is the 87 Buick Regal Turbo's, they all have the same engine and output.
Grand National production was 20K cars. When optioned the same as other turbo regal models it should be slower due its chromed steel wheels vs the other 3 having lighter aluminum wheels.
The Turbo T production ~1500, it was lightest Regals (when equiped with the same options) and its base price was only ~$300 less than a Grand National, it pretty much the same car except for the appearance and a few aluminum items.
Limited T Production ~1000 if fully option it was the most expense of the Turbo.
Regular Turbo Regal production ~4500 Cheapest model.
The Turbo T and Limited T's value are slightly higher value than the Regular Turbo Regal, the Grand National Clearly have the highest resale value. In this case the perceived top of the line model has the highest value, even though it has much higher production numbers, wasn't the most expensive and its slightly heavier than other models with the same options (their were a lot of options that could have been ordered, so that is why I am using that qualifier)
