Someone check this list for me...

How's this sound for a start?

Buschur 3" TBE
AEM EMS
Buschur injectors (size?)
Buschur Twin Fuel Pump System
Shifter bushings
FP Red (not tuned aggressively)

few questions.. I know I can just flash the stock ecu and go with 880 injectors but I plan to get a bigger turbo in the future... So i'd hate to buy 880s now and have to go with say 1200s later... Can I use 1200s with the FP Red?

Also... is the buschur twin pump over kill? Like I said, i'm thinking for the future, so will the Walbro 255 always work or should I just start with the buschur from the gate?

Anything i'm missing? this is a START lol car is completely stock

Ill take the case!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How's this sound for a start?

Buschur 3" TBE - Good choice there are many other options but not bad

AEM EMS - Why??? There is no point waste of money Stock ecu is a beast look into mellon tuning

Buschur injectors (size?) fp red 1000cc is great

Buschur Twin Fuel Pump System - if your not going to push more than 550 whp no point in this either

Shifter bushings - Ahh no comment

FP Red (not tuned aggressively) - Ok i dont get it the fp red is a Beast turbo some people have gotten 550-637 whp out of this thing. Why go bigger unless you want the 700 and up club. If you shooting for that then why bother even buying this turbo just go straight to the 35r

Next, ARP headstuds? - Of course needed

Buschur Racing Stg 3 Cylinder Head? HELLA YEA BUT do the head studs and this mod same time

your list is good but out of order. what about porting your parts?? what about a intercooler upgrade so you dont have heat soak?? what about a bov to hold all of this?? new intercooler piping system? Seems you missed all the basic parts your going to need before any of those mods would really be benifically to you. You did not even include Camshaft upgrade or a Boost controller hows that going to work?? NO NEW CLUTCH??? The Oem is not going to hold this power.

list should go somewhat like

Tbe(whatever you want)
MBC or EBC
Intercooler upgrade
Intercooler Pipping
New intake
walbro 255 pump(for now not that expensive)
Aps bov or Tial
Tune

Then
Port your parts out includes
intake manny
exhaust manny(or aftermarkt manny your choice)
Hotside of Turbo upgrade since you here might as well(fp red, 35r(bigger housing) whatever)
65mm T/b
o2 housing upgrade or Open dump
Bigger Injectors
Camshaft upgrade
Spring retainer upgrade
New clutch exedy twin or some type of act
Tune

During that second wave do a br stage 3 head(or similer ported/polished head etc) plus apr headstuds then or do it next wave of mods

from there sky is the limit build bottom end tranny rebuild Tc rebuild suspension work you name it. But again this is just my opinion and from what i seen a decent logical path to follow so you dont miss stuff your car your choice

thanks alot man

weird! only reason I was looking at AEM EMS is because AMS told me you cannot use injectors bigger than 880ccs on the stock ecu...

OK so say I stay with the FP red, 1000ccs are the biggest injectors i will ever need? And there's no point getting the double pump with the red, right?

and the reason I noted that at first the FP red would not be tuned aggressively is I wouldn't want to really run it hard until the stg 3 cylinder head and head studs are in, got me?

i have 1000cc injectors on my stock ecu and they work just fine.

FP red seems like a good turbo for what ur looking for. no need for more than a single walboro 255lph fuel pump.

Head studs are needed if you plan on running high boost. A whole upgraded head is beneficial but just some cams and headstuds as well as possibly springs and retainers, is all the head needs. you do not need an upgraded head till you have big power. Cars have run 10's with the stock head never even being off the vehicle

AEM is full of **** its call trying to make a sale and have you spend 1700 for no good reason. Use that money to buy the Fp Red or A Exedy twin to harness all the power. That you will need. Again LOOK INTO MELLON TUNING he will set you straight. One thing i can say about mellon he is a honest man and will not lead you astray if your willing to follow him and trust me he has been down that path before. When i first got my evo i did not know what to do i found this forum and read up but still was clueless about alot of things then i saw a ad for mellon tuning and some of his post and i figured what the hell call him up and he set me straight. HE WAS MORE THAN WILLING TO LISTEN TO EVERYTHING I HAD TO SAY and though his experience at tuning and buying useless parts at times tell me the do's and dont's and even explain why.

now to answer your second question 1000cc are good of course you can get bigger injectors if you like but why 1050cc 1200 1600 not needed. Again no need for double pumper save your money. I can tell you been reading alot of hear say on this forum dont buy into alot stuff on here. Talk to your tuner or the person you want to tune your car. They can set you straight.

third thing you said you dont want to run the red hard?!?!!?!?! Then why buy a turbo upgrade if thats the case keep what you got if you want a conservative tune. You will not be getting the pontenial power you paid 2000 for if your going to do a safe tune. Tunes add up man why pay a person to tune your car 2 times for the same thing. just do it all at one time. You tune it to be aggressive and just drive it. As long as you stay out of boost does not matter. Keep your car on kill mode 24/7 as mellon told me you never know who will look at you and want some of that

again, all good advice here sd390r...seems RockmanX has taken you under his wing and is going to keep you from making some costly mistakes. I couldn't have said any of that better myself.

While I concur with everything you have said I must say that shifter bushings are not a useless part if your shifter feels sloppy during shifting. I noticed a night and day difference between the soft stock bushings and aftermarket bushings. They are inexpensive and do provide a benefit. Everything else you have said so far I concur with.

chemwarrior as i do agree with what you said about the shifter bushing that part falls under im just trying to do another mod section. Its not needed and thats something i would do as a filler part not required persay. Example i know the factory oem radiator is good peace of hardware i was not going to change it out at all but after i wanted to change my radaitor hoses to blue i cracked my radaitor pulling the top hose free. Remember the top half is made out of plastic. WHO THOUGHT OF THAT IDEAL. so i was spraying coolant all over the place. Remember that mellon?? SO i had to get a new one. So why go oem i just got a Mishimoto Radaitor and its pushing strong. was that required on my journey for power nope but i had to due to circumstances out of my control. same with shifter bushing and shifter feeling sloppy. do that between mods or IF you have to. i would not add it to the install list as required by any means
