I was in a dialemma about which exhaust to get. Then I saw more-japan (tanabe subsidiary), is having a memorial day sale. Full Turboback exhaust including downpipe for $5XX bucks.
Figured i would share so a few others could maybe try to scoop up some exhausts too. Hyperrevs and a few other EVO things for sale too for dirt cheap.

I think the brand does matter. The quality of the materials do matter. From what i know, Tanabe uses full 304 grade thin wall stainless steel, which is much better than their competitors as far as S/S goes. Lighter, and better proofing against rust.
Here is a link for the sound of the exhaust: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KqH3XFdBbeM
And the details: http://www.tanabe-usa.com/gblue.asp?id=9
EDIT: I just noticed Chargespeed aero stuff for the EVO is on sale too.

Not all Greddy and HKS exhausts are S/S. Depends on the model and type.
Even then, i HEARD (don't hold me to it), that they are not all the same grade of S/S.

I noticed that most of the Tanabe exhausts are "Open Box / Display Item" -- take from that what you will. I picked up a dp anyway....
