419 Ft. Lbs Stock Turbo Stock Clutch FTW!!!!!

So anyway we decided to through my 9 on the dyno the other day after draining the stock tranny fluid and puttin in some lightweight shock proof. I was kinda curious what the car would put down! Stock turbo, stock block, stock head, stock intake manifold and stock clutch with 26,000 miles on it. Mods: ETS 4.5" FMIC, custom 2.5" hard IC pipe, Tial Q, 3.5" turbo back, tubular manifold, custom 3" 02 housing, custom 3.5" intake pipe, and good ole 93 octane!!

First roll on the dyno it made good power around 25ish psi it made around mid 300 hp and tq , so we decided to increase the boost and take a little fuel out. Next pass the boost spiked around 34 psi and there was a little knock!! I cant remember the hp for sure i think around 370's and the tq was 419 haha. Stock clutch didnt slipping at all. Needless to say we detuned it a little bit bc we were right at 99% injector duty and the afrs were pretty lean. We kept the boost around 30 psi at 11.7 afrs and unstrapped the car and took it out. The car felt great. I think next step is some FP4R's, 255, injectors and then back to the dyno with Nate Silveri!!!!

DYNO VIDEOS:
this first one is just the first pull on the dyno getting a base log

This is a after 3 different pulls and comparing them

Here is just another view of the dyno

Sorry the vids are just raw videos that I havnt got a chance to edit and I figured i better not waste any more time. Ill get the actually graphs tomorrow when i go up to the shop. Hope this holds some of you off for now

I think you are ready for the jump to E85.

I gained 75 whp and 100 ft lbs moving to E85. That would put you at 475 whp and 500 ft lbs. Woooza!

Bs

I call BS on this. There's no way your running 30psi on 93, something is very wrong with that dyno. Over 400 with a stock IX, with just an exhaust, intake and IC kit...keep it real!

Okay!! thats totally fine with me. I mean we got the name TPG tuning (team pump gas) because we have made good hp on 93 octane. Our old 2g with a bolton 3052 put down over 500 on pump. It really helps when you have a tuner such as Nate Silveri to do all the hard work. I have the videos and I can get the graphs!!

I would love to run E85 the thing is there is no E85 places around here and the car is my dd so i dont wanna have to carry containers of E85 around in the trunk so that i dont run out of gas

It's possible especially if boost was spiking at 30psi. What gear was this done in, what kind of dyno, what was the correction factor, do you have a graph with boost numbers?

The boost was spiking arond 30ish and pretty much hold 28 the whole way thru, it was all done on a dynojet awd dyno and in 4th gear, i dont have a graph with boost numbers, before when we put the car on a dynopak and logged boost my gauge was reading pretty accurate according to the logs. I know didnt really start to make power until Nate started playing around with the mivec maps

LOL my bull**** detector is going crazy. There's no way you're peaking at 34 psi and holding 28 at redline. Seriously dude, The evo 9 turbo CAN'T hold anywhere near that much boost at redline.

and LOL again at stock injectors at 30 psi. you my friend are an idiot.

Perhaps not, but posting fairy tales about a tune is pretty ridiculous. Hopefully the OP searches around this forum and figures out for himself that nothing in his original post is anywhere close to being true.

hahahah i think it is halarious this is the same reaction we got with the 2g 2 years ago... OMG THERE IS NO WAY NO WAY POSSIBLE... well let me see i was on 93 octane straight no meth, ill take some engine bay shots tonite, no q16 no c16 staight good ole exxon 93 pump gas. Like I said the boost was spiking around 30ish and then gradually fall off but it didnt drop off until like mid 7k, we were running the car to 8k. AND ANGAIN we were getting 99% injector duty cycle and around 11.7 -11.8 afrs. so the tune is pretty aggresive for a dd and im pretty sure we pulled ever bit of power we could out it. And NO KNOCK at all at 30 psi, we keep the timing somewhat low around 13 degrees advanced. I got the videos on the cd ill get them up tonite or tomorrow.
