Not the mod bug.....

Since I first had my evo, I explained to everyone I would only be doing exhaust, drop-in, and tune. Well I got the N1 on yesterday and was wondering which drop-in would best suit my needs before I get a tune?

Also, for the acd reservoir I noticed that it is low and does not fluctuate (like other posts explained) and I think I just need a little more fluid. What fluid should I top it off with? Thanks in advance everyone!

I'd do the Perrin drop-in since their foam filtering media performs quite well. I believe the ACD fluid type is written on the reservoir cap.

Okay, should I get it from the dealer or is there any brands I can buy from a retail store that are equivalent?

Is Perrin a dry or wet (oiled) filter? After some past issues with other cars, im totally against oiled due to maf problems and such.

Let me restate my previous question, What is the best dry filter?

Thanks

have you thought about a open source filter ( is that the correct term? lol) like maybe the buschur intake? or apexi? those are both dry filters but if you must do a drop in i heard the works drop-in filter is nice piece. i notice you live in orland park IL i live like 10 min away not even lol where you at??

The Perrin is oiled so I guess its out for you. You should think about getting an Amsoil cone filter instead; dry filter element and excellent filtering ability (unlike the Buschur, Vibrant, etc.), but still makes very good power.

^- What makes the Buschur and Vibrant not excellent for filtering ability?

What ATF should I use in the reservoir? Amsoil? I can get that at Pepboys. I will most likely go with the works drop-in then.
