yeah get something safe for a first car i learned and drove an 89 chevy celebrity 4 cylinder. those old american sedans arent fast and surround u with alotta steel. i cant imagine if someone had given me an evo as a first car lol.

hey man. i got my evo 9 when i was 16 and ive had it for almost 3 years now and its a very great car. I have never crashed. no tickets, no violations. everyone here is just trying to let you know that many kids like us get cars like these and wreck them. there are some unnecessary comments but hey, your still young and we dont want to hear another wrecked evo storey from a young kid. but if your mentally ready and your parents are down to buy it for you, go ahead. Its your life and if your parents allot it then ok. Some people werent fortunate to drive cars like these in out age and they learned through a different car. Even then there are older age people who still crash their evos. Then they have no one to blaim but themselves and "younger" kids so have fun in your decision

Yea I'm hatin' I had the baddest feet in high school boi!!! Then I joined the military when I started getting paid and I was able to own one... I wasn't fortunate enough to own a bad car like this one when I was 15, I think I was still playing GI Joes and surfing in Puerto Rico...

i had an evo as my first car...i still have the same one now and i cherish the hell out of it. guess i was raised well. i say first learn how to drive responsibly.
