Question Purchasing EVO X Descion

Does anyone have the exact motor and suspension diffrences between the evo x mr and the ralliart loaded. I really need to know as I have a down payment on an EVO X MR for july and wouldnt want to buy one if its smarter to buy a rallart and just swap a few parts.

Let me know what you guys think andi f you have the specs.

You need to research... because the differences are huge.

To make the Ralliart handle like the X (GSR or MR) will be more than just a few bits because most of the suspension on the Evo is wider and lighterweight (aluminium).

id get a used MR why buy new, theres someone selling theirs on this forum with 7500 miles for 30k.

dont get a ralliart its a turboed lancer with awd, in my opinion the ralliart is closer comparison to a lancer than an evo x mr.

More importantly, how much are you buying the MR for?

I bet it's full retail....

No clear cut answers yet....

The Mr will be here in three weeks so come on guys help me out . If i get the MR im taped for a while. IF i get the ralliart I have (8) thousand to invest, but I need to know the specs, if the block and head are the same ? whats turbo difference? do they both come with same exhaust patterns ? How diffrent is the suspension? Is everything swappable? Could I take parts off and evo x and bolt them right on to a ralliart? these are the question I need answered can anyone out there help me?

I'd go IX SSL, from your choices. I'm not an auto person and the X MR and all RAs are automatics. If you want to do heavy modifications then you should go with a GSR 5 speed.

Edit:
Also from what I've heard, the RA's just the same gas mileage as an Evo so there's really no point is trying to go with that point, if that's even a topic on your mind.
