Fender roll temperature?

Looking to roll my fenders, but want to make sure the paint doesn't crack. Going to be using a headgun, but no temperature gauge. Can anyone provide some additional feedback on how much head I need to apply?

You need a infared thermometer to monitor the heat or you will bubble the paint.
You can spend $60 at harborfreight for a gauge or $hundreds fixing your paint
