From S4 to Evo X
Newbie intro
To make a long story short here it goes, I am moving from vancouver canada to san antonio texas on wednesday, i had a 2006 audi s4 which i purchased 8 months ago it was a very good car unfortunately i could not import the car to the states so i had to sell it on thursday. Before buying the audi i had been considering the evo x but i did not buy one because they are ridiculously expensive in canada. I sold my S4 for 35K and bought a 2008 Evo X GSR in dallas texas for 25K which i am picking up on friday once im down there. I hope to have a good time in this forum like i did on audizine.com . Here are some pics of the evo x i bought can you help me figure out what options the car is equipped with??? Does it have bluetooth???
Here she is
Here is my previous S4 im gonna miss her.
My old SC 350z im not new to jap cars.

do all the basic stuff first, exhaust, intake, fmic, tune and go from there, depends on if you want show or go, or both. i rather go, but just do some research and you will find what you are looking for. congrats and gl with your new x

The GSR doesn't come with a bluetooth option, but it can be added on afterwards. There's a how-to here: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...evo-x-gsr.html

Wow, you bought a fully loaded X for $25k? How many miles on that thing? Did you check it out in person? That seems like a pretty low price.
Anyway, you could do a hell of alot to an Evo with $8k to spend on mods. Get a turbo back exhaust, intercooler along with piping, a drop in filter, and a tune, which will get you around 330-350whp easily. You would still have a ton of money left over some coilovers, wheels, ralliart tails.
Spend the rest of the money on track days.

it's been de-badged and the front diamond star is blacked out so I'd assumed it's used. Used X's are definitely in that price range if you can get new MR for around $30K

Welcome and yea, no bluetooth. The easy way check is by just looking at the steering wheel. You see the AWD mode selector there? If you had the bluetooth module, that would have a hands-free bluetooth control instead, and the AWD selector would be where the little coin holder in front of the shifter is. But as laggin said... easy fix if its worth ~$300 to you
