2006 evo 9 for 23k with 16k mile is it a good deal check link?

Even their asking price isn't too bad of a deal. It seems that a lot of the IX's in that price range have close to double, if not more, miles then the one your looking at. Like other people have already mentioned, it doesn't hurt to try to get them to come down in price. After all, isn't that the fun part of buying a car? lol.

if it wasn't such a popular car, i'd say he could get it for cheaper than that. it all depends on how long it's been sitting on the lot. trade in on that car is around 19k or so, but you know they didn't give the guy full trade in. i'd guess they probably gave him around 18k or so, but it costs close to 1k to get them ready for sale usually, so they probably have around 19-20k in the thing. they have at least 2500-4000 markup in the car. if it's been on the lot for a while, it's costing them money. if it's relatively new in the inventory, then they are good with keeping it for a while. if there's no interest in it though, they'd be willing to do some things to get rid of it. a car like that probably won't sit for long though. it looks like a very good car though with such low miles and everything. i'd consider it a good deal to get it for around 21000-22k. i couldn't see paying almost 24k though because NADA retail on the car is only 22500.

i'd offer them $22k flat and tell them its a take it or leave it deal...if they would not budge on the price, i'd tell them to point out $10k worth of options on that car and watch the salesman sweat. on the other hand its boring silver, so i'd probably keep looking lol.
