Serious! A New Member? WOW
Well Saturday 09/05/09 I went to a local small dealer here in Portland, Oregon (*speedsport.net*) to talk money on a 2005 subaru sti I had test drove the day before. They couldn't get me where I wanted to be with payments and I know they had just got in a modified 2003 Evo so I asked to test drive that.
Ill tell you, I liked it A LOT better! sat more comfortable in it and it kicked the sti's ***! a lot more aggressive.
It is a 2003 Lancer Evo 8, black in color with only 38,500 miles on it!
Picked it up for about $18k over all, $1k down and pulled a loan for $17k.
Its dyno tuned on a mustang dyno at 308hp / 278 ft.lbs torque at the wheels! sheets to prove on 3 dyno pulls at 18 psi
its a 2 owner vehicle. owner #1 owned it and in between 3-5 years, cant remember which..he only drove it 10K MILES!
Just had a full compression test last month passing with flying colors. Somewhere around ( 170,168,169,170 )...
mod list, from what I can make out is the following:
3" exhaust, catback, down pipe.
Vishnu Stage 2 kit
NGK spark plugs
Samco hose
Blow off valve discharge couplers
Vishnu Cam Gear Set
Ferodo ds2500 font/rear pads
aftermarket fuel pump, 255LPH
Boost guage.
Stainless clutch line
Injen intake
Injen upper pipe
Injen lower pipe
Exede stg 2 clutch
Short antenna
5k H.I.D's
Yellow fog lights (3k)
Evo 9 launch control (4500rpm)
Everything was proffessionally installed and totals out around $4,000 in total.
Im having tons of fun with this car...I went from a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT to this..Saved me some money on insurance and payments as well, not to mention gas! HAHA
If your in the Portland area and are in the market for a car, I recommend Speed Sport. Ask for Josh, GREAT guy!
Ill attach some pictures of it as well

Oh I will be, dont you worry
Im saving up my money right now and will be going back and getting their full aftermarket bumper to bumper warrenty so it wont hurt too bad if something breaks.
Itll allow me to go to any shop I want to get the repairs done if something goes wrong..**COUGH** English Racing **COUGH** <--serious...youtube them, theyre INSANE!, they built a 1,000+ hp evo thats a beast...But itll cover any aftermarket parts done to the car which is nice.
Once I get that Ill push some more boost and a bigger turbo, cams and stuff like that CANT WAIT!...I drove this car for 2 days thinking..DAMN thats alot of hp, why would I need more...the day after I wanted more

Another Evo in Portland, nice! Looks pretty nice and it seems like you got a pretty reasonable deal, especially considering the low mileage.
How much are they going to charge you for the warranty? It may or may not be worth it.
