how loud is the hks ex. on these cars?

how loud is the hks ex. on these cars?

im wondering if the hi power hks is really loud on a scale of 1 to ten. i really dont want to sound all ricer,but my buddy wants to sell me it for 150 so i cant really beat it.
would it be considered one of the louder exhaust systems for this car or one of the quieter ones?
does it sound good?

What is loud for you? Everyone has diff taste of exhaust. Your best bet is hear from youtube or find a local member who has it. But idk, I would go ahead get it, since its not expensive. If you don't like it, then sell it.

yea i tried the youtube thing but it doesnt really give you a good idea of the loudness.my idea of loud is when you hear it a block away and its doing like 40

IMO its more of a quiet exhaust.

If it's the ceramic coated one it will be one of the quietest one.

in general hks catbacks are always on the quiet side compared to others out there... they often have massive mufflers and resonators...

for 150 its a no brainer!

its on the quieter side but nice. I have it on my car. it is a nice mild rumble at cruise and idle but really opens up and has a deep loud tone under WOT. great combination if you want it to sound good but not drone or sound ricer. for 150 youd be dumb not to get it! and if its still not loud enough just gut the resonator and grab an open dump and youll be set!

This is my old car with a HKS Carbon-Ti on it. The HKS all sound about the same...

hey man i have the hks hi power on my car, and i cut the resonator out of the catback (i have a 3"dp and resonated cat section) and my car is pretty quiet, its not obnoxious but yet its nice and sounds good at the same time

my friend used to have it. id say its pretty quiet. its loud only when you really get on it.

its a pretty quiet exhaust with the cat on there. you can barely here it. im running a test pipe and its quiet when idling but nice semi loud tone when i get on it. I think its perfect!

ive got the carbon ti and i love it. its quieter than my previous and has a great tone. id pick it up for 150 and give it a try. if you dont like it, sell it for 200 haha.
